Version 2 is finally here with a new design, more stability, easier use, built-in Google Classroom support, a redesigned iPad and Mac sidebar, a new Dashboard view, and so much more! You can preview the changes below. Update to it now! (Requires iOS 14 or macOS Big Sur)

Dashboard

The all-new Dashboard replaces the Home tab to provide a new, simpler view with more even more data.

iPad and Mac Sidebars

Apple introduced an all-new Sidebar design with iPadOS 14 and macOS 11. I have completely redesigned and reengineered my custom sidebar implantation to use Apple's.

Refreshed Design

All parts of the app have been looked at, rethought, and updated for better design, stability, and ease of use. You'll notice a new outlined theme to the icons and buttons.

School Assistant uses many of the new features and designs in iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and macOS 11 features such as date pickers or context menus (Seen here: all-new due date picker.)

Home Screen Widgets

School Assistant takes full advantage of iOS 14's new Home Screen widgets! Inspired by Dashboard, you can quickly view your assignments/tests amounts, current class, and next class.

Native Google Classroom

You can now natively load your Google Classroom classes! You can also quickly view assignments and add the post directly to Assignments or Tests, with the name, due date, link, details, and more. You can also open them directly in the Classroom app.

Current and Next Class Views

Now once you set up automatic schedule day switching, you can view your current class, how much longer you have, and when your next class starts right from the Dashboard.

Automatic Schedule Day Switching

You can finally set up Schedule to automatically switch days! It's very easy to set up in Settings and works flawlessly. Note: this currently only supports standard 5- or 7- day schedules.

New Document Scanner

The redesigned and vastly improved document scanner now lets you scan and export a document, or extract its text.

Redesigned Resources

Resources has an all-new design focused on clarity and ease of access. You can also now access up to four saved websites.

New Theme Color Picker

A redesigned theme color picker makes customizing the app to your liking easier than ever. It also includes new theme colors, as well as a new custom color option.

Cell Reordering

That's right, you can finally reorder your Assignments! ...and Schedule, Tests, Classes...
