Dashboard is a great way to quickly get a glance at important information. Dashboard show you the date, how many assignments and tests you have, your current class, how much time is left in that class, and your next class.
Schoolwork helps you to quickly and easily manage your assignments/tests. You can quickly add an assignment/post, set its class and date, and then add things like notes or a submission link, perfect for online learning.
Schedule is a great way to keep track of your days. You can add an unlimited amount of days and set the days to switch automatically based on the current day of the week. You can add the class, times, room information, and teacher. You can also give any day a custom name.
Resources is a great way to access more powerful features of School Assistant. On iPhone, its in a compact but easy-to-understand tab. On iPad and Mac, its integrated directly into the sidebar. You can access Google Classroom, your classes, the doc scanner, and up to four saved websites.
Inspired by the Dashboard, School Assistant features three great widgets for your Home Screen on iOS 14. The Classwork Amounts widget shows the current amount of assignments and tests you have. The Current and Next Class widgets come in two sizes and show your current class and when it ends, and your next class and when it starts.
School Assistant streamlines your workflow with direct access to your Google Classroom assignments. From here, you can view the assignments details, see how long until it's due, add it directly to Assignments or Tests, and quickly open it in the Google Classroom app or website if you need to view materials or submit work.
The handy document scanner creates high-resolution, full color scans in seconds using just your camera. From there, you can save or export your scan, or extract its text so you can copy or send it.
Because so many of us are doing school from home, I took extra care to make School Assistant work great for online learning. Features such as direct adding to Assignments/Tests from Google Classroom, submission locations, and class links help to make online learning easier for everyone
First, as a student myself, I fully believe it is wrong to charge students money for trying to succeed in school. So, School Assistant is completely free, and will forever be free. No premium subscriptions, no paywalls, no ads. Ever. If you like the app, it would be amazing if you considered donating through the Tip Jar in Settings (this is why the App Store shows that there are In-App Purchases) or leaving a review on the App Store.
Available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and Apple Watch. Requires iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS Monterey (12.0), or watchOS 7 or later.
